BENGALURU:

Sunday curfew is back in Karnataka as the government desperately tries to keep a check on the coronavirus spread in the state.

The curfew will run from 8 pm on Saturday till 5 am on Monday.

Except for emergencies and essentials, everything else will be completely locked down. Strict action will be taken against those who are caught moving around unnecessarily after 8 pm.

What’s available/open

  • Groceries
  • Hospitals, medical stores, media outlets
  • Doctors, nurses and ambulance services
  • Visits to hospital by those who are ill
  • Pregnant women for a check-up
  • Emergency treatment in hospitals

Not available/closed

  • Autos, cabs, bikes
  • Bars, salons
  • Factories, companies
  • Parks
  • Liquor stores
  • KSRTC and BMTC bus services (Sunday morning to Monday morning)
  • Hotels are parcel-only
  • All flyovers in Bengaluru to close on Saturday evening
