BENGALURU:
Following the start of the week-long lockdown in Bengaluru Urban and Rural, Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai has appealed to the people to ‘cooperate’ by staying indoors.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Bommai said, “People are allowed to buy groceries till 12 noon. They should take advantage of this opportunity and finish all their work before 12 pm. Don’t just walk around and make us use the police force.”
The Home Minister said all flyovers had been barricaded. “A locked-down atmosphere has been created. The public should cooperate with the police,” he said.
