BENGALURU:
A total of 1,925 cases of coronavirus were detected in the state on Sunday, with 37 deaths taking the fatalities tally to 372.
Bengaluru city was the front-runner yet again with 1,235 cases admitted at various designated hospitals. Bengaluru also saw 302 discharges in Sunday. The city now has 8,167 positive cases.
Karnataka has a total of 23,474 positive cases, out of which 13,251 are active cases being treated at various designated district hospitals.
After Bengaluru, Dakshina Kannada district reported 147 new cases followed by Ballari 90, Vijayapura 51, Kalaburagi 49, Udupi 45, Dharwad 45, Bidar 29, Mysuru 25, Koppala 22, Uttara Kannada 21, Chamarajanagar 19, Haveri 15, Hassan14, Chikkaballapur 13, Tumakuru 13, Kolar 13, Belagavi 11, Davanagere 11, Raichur 10, Mandya 10, Chikkamagalur 9, Shivamogga 8, Gadag 7, Ramanagara 6, Bagalakot 4 and Chitradurga 3. Yadagiri, Bengaluru Rural and Kodagu districts did not report a single case.
