Singapore has unveiled a strategic budget designed to bolster support for workers and businesses, amid rising global tensions and in anticipation of upcoming national elections. Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, who also serves as the nation’s finance minister, announced S$1.06 billion in household vouchers to offset grocery and food costs, along with S$2.02 billion in ‘SG60’ vouchers to commemorate the country’s 60th anniversary.
