Bengaluru, May 27: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Monday highlighted the achievements of the Congress government after completing three years in office, stating that the government had fulfilled every promise made to the people before the elections.

In a detailed post shared on social media platform X, Siddaramaiah credited the people of Karnataka for the government’s achievements and said the administration remained committed to implementing its guarantees as promised.

“The credit for all the achievements of our government belongs to every Kannadiga,” the Chief Minister said.

5… pic.twitter.com/Tz8q5yd6Rr

Siddaramaiah stated that the Congress government had successfully implemented all five guarantee schemes and ensured that the benefits reached every household across the state.

Recalling the Anna Bhagya scheme, the Chief Minister said the programme was launched with the objective that no person in Karnataka should sleep hungry.

He said the scheme has provided nutritional food security to crores of families and helped build a healthier society.

According to Siddaramaiah, the state government has so far spent ₹18,897 crore on distribution of free food grains under the Anna Bhagya scheme.

He added that nearly 4.26 crore ration beneficiaries are now able to have three meals a day with dignity and peace of mind because of the welfare initiative.

The Chief Minister said the Congress government had honoured every commitment made to the people and expressed pride over implementing the guarantees in line with the party’s promises.

Siddaramaiah further stated that the government’s welfare programmes and guarantees were aimed at improving the social and economic condition of ordinary citizens across Karnataka.
