BBMP urged to close all its swimming pools as virus precaution
BENGALURU:
In the aftermath of four persons being tested corona virus-positive in Bengaluru, a demand has been made to shut all swimming pools run by the civic agency.
City-based artist Prashant Sambargi has made this demand to Mayor M Goutham Kumar. In a tweet, he said, “Dear @BBMP_MAYOR, kindly close all BBMP swimming pools in Bangalore on an emergency war footing today. Public health is paramount and needs to have many checks and precautionary measures.If coronavirus COVID19 is out of control, it will be ungovernable.”
