The sealdown of the KR Market and Kalasipalyam markets has been extended till August 31, following an increase in Covid-19 cases in the area.
KR Market & Kalisapalya will continue to be closed till August 31, 2020.

ಕೊರೋನಾ ಸೋಂಕು ಹರಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದರಿಂದ, KR ಮಾರ್ಕೆಟ್ & ಕಲಾಸಿ ಪಾಳ್ಯ ಮಾರ್ಕೆಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದಿಗೆ ಕೊನೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸೀಲ್ ಡೌನ್ ಅವಧಿಯನ್ನು ದಿನಾಂಕ: 31-08-2020 ವರೆಗೆ ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಯ ಆದ್ಯತೆಗೆ ಈ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.
As per a new order passed by BBMP Commissioner Manjunath Prasad, the sealdown of the KR Market and Kalasipalyam markets has been extended from July 31 till August 31. The order is in conformity with MHA guidelines calling for a strict vigil over containment zones.
Earlier, BBMP had ordered closure of the markets for 15 days from June 22. However, owing to the rise in the number of infections, the Chief Secretary had directed BBMP to keep the markets shut till July 31.
