Bengaluru: Karnataka Labour Minister Santosh Lad chaired a progress-review meeting of the Labour Department at Vikasa Soudha, bringing senior officials from the department and its key institutions together for a performance assessment.
Labour Department Secretary Salma Fahim, Karnataka Building and Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board Chief Executive Officer Ravi Channannavar, Labour Commissioner Raghapriya and ESI Commissioner Dinesh Kumar attended the meeting.
Additional Labour Commissioner Manjunath, Joint Labour Commissioner Ravikumar, Joint Labour Commissioner and Joint Secretary Umesh, Deputy Labour Commissioner Guruprasad, Labour Welfare Commissioner Anjaneya and Factories and Boilers Department Director Nanjappa were also present.
The official information confirmed that the meeting reviewed the department’s progress. It did not provide programme-wise performance figures, decisions, deadlines or new directions issued during the review.
