Sabarimala restrictions due to Kerala lockdown, Covid surge
BENGALURU:
The Sabarimala Sri Dharmasastha Kshethra Nada will be opened on June 14 at 5 pm for the Mithunam month pooja, but devotees have been restricted from entering the temple.
The decision to not allow in devotees has been taken due to the current lockdown in Kerala and the surge in Covid-19 cases.
Temple closes on June 19
The Sabarimala temple’s PRO Sunil Arumanoor said only regular poojas will be held at the temple. Devotees will not be able to enter the temple. The temple will be closed on the night of June 19.
