BBMP chief says e-bikes will be used by Sanjaynagar PHC staff for mobile medical services
BENGALURU:
As part of ‘e-sanjeevini’, a free mobile medical services initiative, two electric 2-wheelers were donated to the BBMP primary health centre in Sanjaynagar by Rotary Club of Raj Mahal Vilas on Monday.
MLA Byrathi Suresh, speaking on the occasion, said the Rotary Club has been doing good work and has joined hands with BBMP during the Covid crisis.
BBMP Chief Commissioner Gaurav Gupta thanked the Rotary Club for the gesture and said the vehicles would be used by the PHC staff for providing various medical services in local areas. If the experiment is successful, the mobile medical services will be extended to other wards, Gupta said.
