RAMANAGARA/BENGALURU:
In a development that points to the ease with which the coronavirus is spreading, Ramanagara Additional Deputy Commissioner Javaregowda, who had unsuccessfully tried to persuade Karnataka Congress chief DK Shivakumar to take a Covid-19 test on Sunday, has come down with the virus. He is reportedly a primary contact of two fellow-officials who have tested Covid-positive.
On Sunday night, Javaregowda had visited Doddalahalli village to convince the KPCC president to provide his swab for a test, but Shivakumar bluntly refused.
