BENGALURU:
Former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has shared a video on his social media account ‘X’ of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s son, former MLA Dr. Yathindra, allegedly making threats over the phone. Kumaraswamy questions whether this person, “who threatened the Chief Minister” and said, “Do as I say,” is truly the Chief Minister’s son or rather Karnataka’s Super CM. He also questions if Dr. Yathindra is a Minister for Cash for Posting or a minister of the Internal Recovery Ministry, modeled after the Ministry of Internal Administration.
Kumaraswamy further asks, “Who is this influential person named Mahadeva, to whom the Chief Minister himself gave a phone?
“I mentioned this during a media conference. I stated that there were transfers happening at a cost of 30 lakhs each. I informed him that he was becoming a regular customer. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had said that Kumaraswamy is lying; what he (Kumaraswamy) says is 99.9999% false. I cannot respond to his accusations. Now, What will CM Siddaramaiah say that he has been implicated in a hit and run scandal?,” he questioned.
Kumaraswamy accuses Yathindra of being involved in a transfer scam, claiming that Karnataka’s collection king dad and Karnataka’s collection prince son have joined forces to extort the CM’s ministry.
He believes that this incident alone provides sufficient evidence. Kumaraswamy criticizes the Chief Minister for conducting transfer business without shame, even in public meetings. He accuses Yathindra of selling the prestige of the state for money, questioning how much more corruption can occur behind closed doors if it is already happening openly.

“Who is this Mahadeva?” Kumaraswamy asks again. “Who is this influential person named Mahadeva, to whom the Chief Minister himself gave a phone? I mentioned this during a media conference
Now, Siddaramaiah, I implore you to disclose the percentage at which you and your son have sold these positions. How much of the profit did you pocket, and how much did your son receive? Furthermore, what portion of your office is dedicated to Patalam? You cannot simply dismiss my claims as falsehoods. Truth, stands up, positioned himself across from Siddaramaiah and asked, “What do you have to say?” Ultimately, it is the people of this nation who will determine the veracity of the video’s contents. I am prepared to face the consequences, both positive and negative, on my own. During public gatherings, your son, acting as your accomplice, shamelessly exploited his position for personal gain. I urge the Chief Ministers, who are esteemed members of Ahinda, to address the concerns of the state’s citizens themselves.
Not only do we demand answers from you, but we also question your integrity. Do you not possess any moral values? It is time for you to pay the price and step down. The only honorable course of action left for you is to vacate the office of Chief Minister. I insist that you resign immediately,” Kumaraswamy declared.
