Commuters on the purple line of the metro should plan for other modes of transport, as purple line services will be disrupted on Tuesday on account of civil maintenance work. Due to work between the Indiranagar and Swami Vivekananda Road stations on the purple line, train services between M G Road and Byppanahalli metro stations will remain suspended from 10:15 pm onwards.
BMRCL says the last through train will leave Byappanahalli at 10 pm and the last through train from Mysore Road will be at 9:30 pm.
However, after the through services, metro trains will run between the M G Road and Mysore Road metro stations. The last train will leave from M.G Road at 11:45 pm towards Mysore Road and the last train from Mysore Road to M G Road will be at 11:40 pm on Tuesday night. Metro trains will run as usual from Wednesday morning.
