… but as per Centre, all of Bengaluru is a Red zone
BENGALURU:
While the Karnataka government has adopted the categorisation of the Centre and has included Bengaluru Urban, Bengaluru Rural and Mysuru in the Red zones, it has relaxed restrictions in 177 wards falling under BBMP limits as they do not fall under the containment zone category.
The map colouring and coding of Karnataka has changed from Sunday. The state, which had 13 Green and 14 Red zones, has now adopted the categorisation of the Centre. “The GoK has adopted the new categorisation and it will be further evaluated,” said an officer who is closely monitoring the issue.
