Observe all safety measures, CM tells hotel reps
BENGALURU:
On the eve of restaurants and hotels opening their doors anew on June 8, Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has urged them to observe all the necessary sanitary precautions.
On Saturday, the Chief Minister held discussions with the Departments of Tourism and Transport, as also with representatives of bus, hotel and taxi owners, and said their issues would be addressed suitably.
He also released a booklet of Covid-related precautionary guidelines for restaurants, hotels and tourist destinations.
Deputy Chief Minister and Transport Minister Laxman Savadi, Tourism Minister C T Ravi, chairperson of the Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation Shruti and other senior officials were present at the meeting.
