City police commissioner Bhaskar Rao has warned of strict action against members of the public who click photos of Covid patients without permission.
On Monday, he tweeted: “When a COVID patient is taken to hospital, bystanders take photos on their mobiles and TV channels also air. Privacy invaded n they complained that they feel humiliated. No photography without consent.I have instructed my officers to ensure privacy or take Legal Action.”
