Bengaluru: A peacock formation created by thousands of drones during the Mysuru Dasara 2026 drone show has earned Guinness recognition, the Karnataka Chief Minister’s Office said on Tuesday.
The CMO described the illuminated peacock against the night sky as a highlight of the display held as part of the state festival. Its statement also referred to colourful butterfly formations and a peacock appearing to dance in light.
The office said the recognition had taken the celebration of Karnataka’s state festival to a global audience. The accompanying video showed illuminated aerial formations from the drone show.
