BENGALURU:
Deputy Chief Minister Dr C N Ashwath Narayan has reached out to fellow Kannadigas living in Mumbai’s Dharavi slum, a Covid-19 hotspot, by having 500 grocery kits delivered to them.
On Sunday, around 500 grocery kits were shipped to Mumbai, where local party workers distributed them among the Kannadiga residents. .
The recipients thanked the DCM in a video message. “Salutations to Dr Ashwath Narayan who responded to the hardships of Kannadigas in Mumbai, ” said one of the Dharavi residents.
It was an honour to help the needy in Dharavi. Our team distributed 500 sets of ration kits to Kannadigas stranded in Dharavi, Mumbai. They have expressed their gratitude to PM Shri @narendramodi govt & @BJP4India for this timely help.
