Bengaluru: Passengers travelling between Mumbai and Bengaluru during Puja, Diwali and Chhath will have an additional weekly train option this festival season. Central Railway will operate seven special services in each direction between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Mumbai, and Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal (SMVT), Bengaluru—14 trips in all.
The services will run from October 10 to November 22, 2026, with departures from Mumbai on Saturdays and from Bengaluru on Sundays, according to information shared by South Western Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Dr. Manjunath Kanamadi.

The trains will halt at Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Lonavala, Pune, Lonand, Satara, Karad, Sangli, Miraj, Kudachi, Raybag, Ghatprabha, Belagavi, Londa, Dharwad, SSS Hubballi, Haveri, Ranibennur, Harihar, Davangere, Birur, Arsikere and Tumakuru.
The halt pattern applies to both the Mumbai–Bengaluru and Bengaluru–Mumbai services.
22-coach composition
Each service will have 22 coaches: two AC 2-Tier coaches, 18 AC 3-Tier coaches and two luggage-cum-guard-cum-generator vans.
