BENGALURU:
Coronavirus infections declined in the state on Monday with a relatively ‘low’ 4,267 cases being reported. Discharges were the highest for a single day at 5, 218, while there were 114 deaths statewide.
As per the bulletin released by the Health Department, the state’s total tally of infected people has now increased to 1,82,354. Meanwhile, 99,126 people have been discharged from hospitals.The total death toll in the state is now 3,312.
Approximately 80,908 people are receiving treatment at Covid hospitals, of whom 678 are in ICUs.
In Bengaluru, 1,243 fresh positive cases were reported while 36 people died in the last 24 hours.
Karnataka's covid recovery rate is improving steadily & as of today it stands at 54.36%.
