Visits Victoria Hospital and BBMP War Room

Medical Education Minister K Sudhakar on Monday had a series of review meetings with senior officials of his department on the Covid-19 situation.

Dr Sudhakar also visited Victoria Hospital, where 750 beds have been reserved for Covid-19 patients. He enquired about the availability of necessary equipment and noted that nutritious food from star hotels was being served to hospital staff and patients.

He visited the Covid-19 War Room at the BBMP head office and inspected the newly designed dash board which provides real-time information on Covid-19 patients in the state.

At a video conference with directors of medical colleges, he assured them that more testing labs would be set up, and that there was no shortage of safety gear. Those present with the minister included Additional Chief Secretary Jawaid Akthar, Vice Chancellor, RGUHS, and the Director of Medical Education.
