In a shocking development, Medical Education Minister Dr K Sudhakar’s father has tested Covid-19 positive.
Confirming the development, the minister tweeted through his account @mla_Sudhakar at 6.22 pm: “My father’s COVID19 test has come out positive. Anxiously waiting for reports of other family members. Praying for speedy recovery of my father.”

In fact, six hours before this tweet, Dr Sudhakar had tweeted: “My 82 years old father has been admitted in hospital with complaints of fever & cough. He has undergone Covid19 test as well. We anxiously await results. Need your prayers and blessings.”

Another tweet of his at 6.57 pm stated that a man working as a helper was also diagnosed with the coronavirus. The tweet read: “The man who was working as a helper in our house was also diagnosed with coronavirus and is also being treated at a hospital. Please pray for them to be healed soon.”
