Manoj Kumar Meena is new Chief Electoral Officer of Karnataka
Government order relieves Meena of his Karnataka post as Secretary (Housing)

Karnataka’s 2003 batch IAS officer Manoj Kumar Meena has been appointed the new Chief Electoral Officer of the State Election Commission.
Meena takes over from Sanjiv Kumar, who retired from the post on September 30.
The government order issued on Monday reads: “Consequent on appointment of Chief Electoral Officer, Karnataka of the Election Commission of India, Manoj Kumar Meena, IAS (KN:2003), Secretary to the Government, Housing Department, is relieved from the State Government with immediate effect to enable him to report to the post of Chief Electoral Officer, Karnataka & E/o. Secretary to Government, Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms (Elections), Bengaluru.”
