BENGALURU:
A woman was stabbed to death in broad daylight, in the middle of a road, by her husband on Tuesday. The man later surrendered to the police.
The victim, Hema (32), was a resident of Lavakush Nagar, Bengaluru. Her husband, Manjunath, was taken into custody by the Rajagopalanagar police, said DCP (North) N Sasikumar.
The accused is a Tempo driver and a native of Channarayapatna taluk in Hassan, while his wife was from Kunigal.
The couple were married for 12 years and have two children.The victim had earlier lodged a complaint at the Rajagopalanagar police station against her husband.
Following a quarrel between the two on Tuesday, Hema reportedly ran out of the house, and the accused stabbed her fatally with a knife.
