BENGALURU:
A tragic incident occurred late at night near Ashoka Pillar in Jayanagar, resulting in the death of a bike rider after a collision between a BMW RR 1000CC bike and a car.
The deceased has been identified as Sheikh Nasir (32), while the pillion rider, Syed Mudasir, sustained injuries.
The bike riders were known for their preference for the luxurious, which carries a hefty price tag of 24 lakh rupees.
The accident occurred while the rider was performing a wheelie at high speed, leading to a collision with a Swift car. Tragically, Sheikh Nasir lost his life on the spot, while the pillion rider remains in critical condition.
It is worth noting that neither of the bike riders were wearing helmets, which likely contributed to the severity of Sheikh Nasir’s injuries. He suffered a fatal blow to the neck. The injured pillion rider has been admitted to the hospital with serious injuries.
The incident falls under the jurisdiction of the Wilson Garden Traffic Police Station, and a case has been registered.
