One of the most significant recoveries was reported in Chitradurga, where retired Accounts Assistant Susheelamma H.G. possessed assets worth ₹8.32 crore. These included 13 sites, six houses, a commercial complex, and over 34 acres of agricultural land, along with gold, vehicles, and other valuables.

In Shivamogga, District Officer Shobha K.R. had assets worth ₹3.88 crore, including sites, a house, agricultural land, and high-value vehicles and ornaments.

In Ballari, Assistant Director of Fisheries Shivanna was found with assets worth ₹2.82 crore, including multiple sites, houses, and 44 acres of agricultural land.

In Bidar, retired in-charge comptroller Suresh K.L. possessed assets worth ₹4.38 crore, including residential properties, agricultural land, and valuables.

In Kodagu, Assistant Executive Engineer I.K. Puttaswamy was found with assets worth ₹2.99 crore, including sites, a house, and movable assets such as gold and vehicles.

Nature of Seized Assets:
The movable assets recovered during the searches included large quantities of gold and silver ornaments, cash, vehicles, bank deposits, and other household valuables. In several cases, the value of movable assets significantly exceeded known income sources, raising strong suspicion of disproportionate wealth accumulation.

Ongoing Investigation:
Lokayukta officials confirmed that these raids were part of ongoing investigations into disproportionate assets cases registered at various Lokayukta police stations. Detailed scrutiny is now underway to determine the exact extent of assets that are disproportionate to the known sources of income of the accused officials.

Further legal action will be initiated based on the findings of the investigation, including possible prosecution under relevant anti-corruption laws.

Anti-Corruption Drive Intensifies:
The coordinated statewide operation underscores the Karnataka Lokayukta’s intensified efforts to curb corruption and enforce accountability within government departments. Officials stated that similar actions will continue as part of a sustained crackdown on illicit wealth accumulation by public servants.
