BENGALURU:
The very first day of ‘Unlock 1’ saw a police constable attached to the KR Market police station testing positive for Covid-19.
Eight of his contacts are now under quarantine.
The swab sample of the constable was taken in Ithe normal course but his report came on Monday. It is reported that the constable was posted at Tipu Nagar, a containment zone.
Following the development, the KR Market police station has been cordoned off and sanitized.
The news of the constable’s infection has created panic among shopkeepers and traders in the crowded locality.
