BENGALURU:
252 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the state. Unfortunately, two individuals have lost their lives to the infection, while 441 people have successfully recovered. In the past 24 hours, a total of 7,359 individuals have been tested for the virus. Currently, there are 18 patients in the intensive care unit.
The number of active COVID-19 cases has risen to 1,031. These patients are receiving treatment and care in hospitals, corona care centers, and their own homes. The infection’s positivity rate stands at 3.42 percent.

Tragically, one person in Bellary and one in Mysore district have succumbed to the infection. Out of the 252 new cases, 6 were reported in Bellary, 172 in Bangalore City, 2 in Chikkaballapur, 5 in Chikkamagaluru, 5 in Chitradurga, 3 in Dakshina Kannada, 6 in Dharwad, 3 in Gadag, 20 in Hassan, 4 in Kalaburagi, 3 in Kodagu, 1 in Kolar, 8 in Mysore, 6 in Raichur, 3 in Ramanagara, and 7 in Vijayanagar district.
