KPSC Extends Application Deadline for 319 Group A, B Gazetted Probationer Posts to September 7
Bengaluru: The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) has extended the deadline for submitting online applications for 319 Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ Gazetted Probationer posts for 2026-27 to September 7, 2026.
KPSC had issued a notification on July 31, 2026, inviting applications from eligible candidates for 319 posts, comprising 297 posts under the Residual Parent Cadre and 22 under the Hyderabad-Karnataka cadre. Candidates were initially given time from August 1 to August 31, 2026, to submit their applications online.
According to the commission, recent technical server problems on the Nadakacheri and Seva Sindhu portals prevented some candidates from obtaining caste, income and internal reservation certificates within the stipulated time.
Candidates from rural areas also faced difficulties in paying application fees because of inadequate internet connectivity, resulting in payment failures. Consequently, several candidates were unable to complete their online applications within the original deadline and requested KPSC to extend the application period.
After examining the representations received from candidates, the commission decided to extend the last date for submitting applications to September 7, 2026, in the interest of applicants, KPSC Secretary Jyothi K. said in the announcement.
