CHAMARAJNAGAR:

Following heavy rains, road connectivity between Kerala and Karnataka has been hit, with the conjoining Gundlupete village cut off.

National Highway 766 is a major connecting road to Kerala, passing through the Bandipur National Park. Heavy rains have been reported in Kerala for three days and the water in the Kabini river is overflowing.

The Mulehole river flowing towards Kerala via Bandipur is in spate and has cut road connectivity between the two states.

As per sources, trucks, buses, cars and other vehicles from either state are at a standstill on either side of the approach to Bandipur.
