Bengaluru: Candidates applying for Group-C posts in urban local bodies under Karnataka’s Directorate of Municipal Administration now have until October 7, 2026, to submit their applications. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has separately extended the fee-payment deadline to October 8.
The extension covers recruitment to the Kalyana Karnataka local cadre. The posts listed in KEA’s notice are Water Supply Operator, Assistant Water Supply Operator, Electrician Grade-I and Electrician Grade-II.
KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna urged candidates to make use of the extended window. Applicants should note that submitting the application and paying the fee have separate closing dates.

The September 29 notice extends the application window that was earlier scheduled to close on September 30. It refers to the recruitment notification issued on September 11, 2026.
Other recruitment conditions remain unchanged
KEA has said that the other provisions of the September 11 notification remain unchanged. The revised dates therefore apply to the existing recruitment exercise for these municipal posts; candidates must continue to follow the requirements in that notification.
