KEA Announces UGNEET 2026 Second-Round Final Seat Allotment for Medical, Dental Courses; Fee Payment Deadline September 19
Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the final results of the second round of UGNEET-2026 seat allotment for admission to medical and dental courses, directing candidates allotted seats to complete fee payment by September 19 and report to their respective colleges by September 21.
According to a KEA notification dated September 16, the second-round final seat allotment result was published on the KEA website at 2 pm on Wednesday.
KEA had announced the revised second-round provisional result on September 15 after taking into account seats made available through Choice-4 exits. Candidates were allowed to submit objections to the revised provisional result until 9 am on September 16.
After examining the objections received within the stipulated time, KEA published the second-round final result on September 16.
Candidates who have been allotted UGNEET seats in the second-round final results must pay the prescribed fee, download the seat confirmation slip and mandatorily report to the allotted college according to the schedule announced by KEA.
The window for payment of fees and downloading the seat confirmation slip is from September 16 to September 19, during banking hours.
The last date for candidates to report to their allotted colleges along with the seat confirmation slip is September 21, up to 5 pm.
KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna said in a post on X that candidates allotted seats must pay the prescribed fee by September 19, download the seat allotment confirmation document and mandatorily report for admission. He reiterated that September 21 is the last date for reporting to colleges.
In view of the limited time available for conducting the counselling process, KEA has also directed all participating institutions and colleges to treat holidays as working days.
The final result marks the conclusion of the second-round seat-allotment process following the revised provisional result and consideration of objections received by the authority.
