Bengaluru: Eligible candidates have until 10.30am on October 26 to enter options for 273 medical and two dental seats remaining after the second stray-vacancy round, the Karnataka Examinations Authority said.
Candidates who have not received a seat allotment and have paid the caution deposit are eligible to participate, KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna said.
Allotment and admission on the same day
The authority said results would be announced half an hour after option entry closes. Candidates allotted seats must join their colleges by 6pm on October 26.
Prasanna said the deadline had been fixed because October 26 is the final date for medical and dental admissions under the Medical Counselling Committee’s directions. An allotted seat would be cancelled if the candidate failed to report within the stipulated period, he warned.
KEA also announced the second stray-vacancy round results on Sunday. That round allotted 13 medical and 12 dental seats, with October 26 as the last date for joining the respective colleges.
