Karnataka | Tragic Suicide Captured on CCTV: Man Jumps into Moving Bus

In a shocking incident that unfolded in front of the KSRTC bus stand in Chamarajanagar, a man tragically took his own life by leaping into a moving bus.

The deceased has been identified as Rangaswamy (34) from Yalakkuru village in Chamarajanagar taluk.

Eyewitnesses reported that Rangaswamy, who was standing by the roadside, suddenly jumped onto the back wheel of a bus heading from Chamarajanagar bus stand to Gundlupet.

Despite the driver’s prompt reaction to apply the brakes, the wheel tragically rolled over Rangaswamy, resulting in his immediate demise.

The motive behind this distressing suicide remains unknown, leaving the community puzzled and saddened. The incident momentarily stunned onlookers, who were left in disbelief.

Upon receiving the distressing news, the Chamarajanagar traffic station police swiftly arrived at the scene to conduct a thorough investigation. The deceased’s body was sent for post-mortem examination to shed light on the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.

Adding to the gravity of the situation, the entire incident was captured on the CCTV footage, which was installed in front of a nearby shop.

This heart-wrenching incident serves as a reminder of the importance of mental health awareness and support within our communities.
