Karnataka Speaker’s Green Signal for Munirathna’s Prosecution in Honey Trap Case
BENGALURU: Speaker U.T. Khader has officially approved the prosecution of BJP MLA Munirathna from the Rajarajeshwari Nagar constituency. Munirathna has been chargesheeted in a case involving serious allegations, including using an HIV-infected woman in a honey trap, making casteist slurs, and luring her.
Following the registration of an FIR against Munirathna, he was taken into custody and sent to Parappana Agrahara Central Jail. However, he was later released on bail and even attended the budget session.
