BENGALURU:
Heavy rains for the past few days have led to steadily rising levels in the state’s dams.Â
As per sources, if the rains continue, the KRS dam can fill up in just 10 days. With heavy rains in Shivamogga and Uttara Kannada, the inflow has increased in the Linganamakki dam too.
Ghataprabha, Malaprabha and Hemavathi are on the verge of overflowing while the Tunga, Bhadra and Hemavathi rivers are overflowing due to heavy rains in Chikkamagalur and Sringeri.Â
