BBMP exceeds its single-day target with 1,85,149 jabs

BENGALURU:

Karnataka has achieved yet another single-day vaccination milestone with 11, 80, 627 doses being administered statewide till 10 pm on Wednesday.

Of these, 1,85,149 doses were given to eligible persons in the BBMP limits.

An enthused Health and Medical Education Minister Dr K. Sudhakar tweeted: “Karnataka crosses 10 lakh doses today! Pace is picking up and we have given more than 35 lakh doses in the last 5 days!”

Meanwhile, as part of the Covid-19 Vaccine Fair in all 8 zones of BBMP, the civic agency had targeted vaccination of around 1.30 lakh people, but exceeded its target at the end of the day with a total of 1,85,149 doses.

ಬಿಬಿಎಂಪಿ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು “ಕೋವಿಡ್-19 ಲಸಿಕಾ ಮೇಳ” ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡು, ಲಸಿಕಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಲ್ಲಿ ಲಸಿಕೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಛಾಯಾಚಿತ್ರಗಳು.

High-vaccination districts on Wednesday

  1. BBMP – 1,85,149
  2. Belagavi – 97,761
  3. Mandya – 72,081
  4. Mysuru – 51,055
  5. Dakshina Kannada – 49,488

Total vaccinations in state till date: 4,36,08,688
