Karnataka Congress Announces Honorarium for Registered Minority Religious Workers

Bengaluru: The Karnataka government has decided to provide honorarium to registered religious workers serving Jain basadis, Buddhist viharas and Sikh gurdwaras, the state Congress said.

Bengaluru: The Karnataka government has decided to provide honorarium to registered religious workers serving Jain basadis, Buddhist viharas and Sikh gurdwaras, the state Congress said.

The party identified Jain basadi priests, Buddhist vihara Dhammacharis and Sikh gurdwara Granthis as the covered groups. Its announcement invited eligible religious workers to register for the benefit.

The information was issued through the Karnataka Congress account. Applicants should use the registration channels listed in the accompanying announcement for the scheme.
