Karnataka, Maharashtra to coordinate flood control steps

Minister for Water Resources Ramesh Jarkiholi will meet his Maharashtra counterpart Jayant Patil in Mumbai on Wednesday regarding coordination of flood control measures for the Krishna and Bhima rivers.

Sharing of the Krishna waters during summer and notification of the Krishna Tribunal Award are also on the agenda of their talks.

Minister for Textiles Shrimant Patil and Additional Chief Secretary Rakesh Singh will be part of the Karnataka team.
