Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court has instructed the state government to provide a comprehensive status report regarding the tragic stampede that occurred outside a local cricket stadium, resulting in the deaths of 11 individuals and injuries to over 50 others.
In a suo motu action, the court took notice of the incident and has mandated the state to submit a detailed report by June 10. The directive was issued by a division bench led by Acting Chief Justice V. Kameshwar Rao and Justice C. M. Joshi, who have classified the case as a public interest litigation.
