Karnataka Excise Department Invites Online Bids for 26 Liquor Licences in Bengaluru; E-Auction on July 27
Bengaluru, July 9: The Karnataka Excise Department has invited online bids from eligible applicants for the allotment of CL-2A and CL-9A liquor licences through an e-auction for the retail sale of Indian Made Liquor (IML), Foreign Liquor, or both in Bengaluru.
According to an official notification, a total of 26 vacant or available excise licences under Bengaluru Urban District (BUD-06) will be allotted through an online auction conducted on the MSTC e-Commerce portal.
The department said the bidder registration process commenced on July 3, while the live e-auction will be held on July 27 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The e-auction covers the allotment of CL-2A and CL-9A licences for eligible bidders in accordance with the Karnataka Excise Rules.
The department has stated that detailed guidelines, eligibility criteria, terms and conditions, district-wise licence details, reservation policy, application fee, Earnest Money Deposit (EMD), reserve price and post-auction procedures are available on the official Karnataka Excise Department website and the MSTC e-Commerce portal.
