Noted Karnataka poet Chennaveera Kanavi showing signs of recovery from Covid-19

DHARWAD:

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has expressed the hope that renowned litterateur Dr Chennaveera Kanavi will recover soon from Covid-19. Kanavi has been admitted to SDM Medical College and is showing signs of recovery.

ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ @BSBommai ಅವರು ಇಂದು ಧಾರವಾಡದ ಸತ್ತೂರಿನ ಎಸ್.ಡಿ.ಎಂ. ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ, ಅನಾರೋಗ್ಯದಿಂದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹಿರಿಯ ಸಾಹಿತಿ ಡಾ. ಚೆನ್ನವೀರ ಕಣವಿ ಅವರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದರು.

Speaking to media persons after visiting the hospital on Sunday to enquire about Kanavi’s health, Bommai said the poet was admitted to the hospital a month ago for pneumonia and later tested positive for Covid-19.
