There are now 72 labs in the state with an aggregate capacity of more than 15,000 tests daily.  Establishment of Covid War Rooms has played a key role in surveillance and maintaining a robust database in the fight against the coronavirus.   The state also has a robust ILI and SARI surveillance programme. Data on these cases is being collected daily from private hospitals and pharmacies.

Furthermore,  private hospitals will have to reserve a portion of their facilities for the treatment of Covid-19. A tele-ICU facility has been created for interaction between doctors treating Covid cases.
