Winter session to be held for 10 days from December 4th in Belagavi
Bengaluru: The Belagavi winter session of both Houses of Karnataka’s legislature is planned from December 7 for 10 days at Suvarna Vidhana Soudha, following an October 15 Cabinet decision, according to a letter from Chief Secretary Dr Shalini Rajneesh.
The letter, dated October 27, asks the Karnataka Legislative Assembly Secretariat to take the necessary steps to issue a notification for convening the session.
The communication sets out the proposed start date, venue and 10-day duration. It is a request for the notification process and does not itself constitute the formal notification summoning the Houses.
