BENGALURU:
Members of the Kannada film industry, led by actor Shivarajkumar, on Wednesday met Kannada and Culture Minister C T Ravi to request a relief package for members of the film fraternity. They also asked for cinema theatres to be reopened and for tax exemptions.
The minister tweeted: “At a meeting held today at the residence of actor Shivarajkumar, workers in the television and film industry have appealed for a relief package, reopening cinemas and tax exemption.”

He added, “I have promised to discuss this with the Chief Minister.”
