BENGALURU: 

The state government in a major reshuffle has posted IPS officer Kamal Pant as the new Bengaluru city police commissioner.

As per the Friday notification, Kamal Pant, IPS (KN:1990), Additional Director General of Police, Intelligence, Bengaluru, is transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Additional Director General of Police and Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru City,  vice  Bhaskar Rao, IPS, transferred.

Bhaskar Rao, IPS (KN: 1990), Additional Director General of Police and Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru City,  is transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Additional Director General of Police, Internal Security Division, Bengaluru, in the post falling vacant due to the promotion of P S Sandhu,  IPS.

B Dayananda, IPS (KN:1994). Additional Director General of Police, Criminal Investigation Department and Economic Offences, Bengaluru, is transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Additional Director General of Police, Intelligence, Bengaluru vice Kamal Pant, IPS,  transferred.
