CM too is out on balcony ‘thanking’ workers

BENGALURU:

Not only did Bengalureans by and large abide by the PM’s ‘janata curfew’ call on Sunday, they responded enthusiastically to his appeal to thank all essential service workers by way of clapping or other signs of appreciation.

People were seen on their terraces and balconies clapping, clanging utensils and ringing bells to express their gratitude to all essential service providers.

Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa too was part of the ‘action’, and was seen on his balcony along with his family members clapping and expressing his gratitude.

Later in the evening, in two tweets, Prime Minister Modi thanked all citizens for their solidarity and support in the fight against the coronavirus.
