International-Standard Jewellery Park to Be Established in South Bengaluru: D.K. Shivakumar
Bengaluru: Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar has assured representatives of the Karnataka Jewellery Association that an international-standard jewellery park will be established in South Bengaluru.
Members of the association, led by MLC and its president T.A. Saravana, met Shivakumar and submitted a representation seeking land for the proposed project.
Responding to the request, the Chief Minister assured the delegation that the government would establish the jewellery park in the southern part of the city.
The proposed park is expected to provide dedicated infrastructure for the jewellery sector and bring related activities together at a common location.
Details concerning the project’s precise location, required land, investment, implementation agency and completion schedule were not immediately disclosed.
