BAGALKOT:
A 23-year-old Asha worker was attacked and suffered injuries to her chest and head in Kulhali village of Mudhol taluk of Bagalkot district.
On Thursday, Jyoti Pola had gone to collect information on Mumbai returnees in the village. When she visited Vithoba’s house, he refused to provide information and assaulted her. She is being treated at a government hospital.
Kulhali Gram Panchayat PDO Kavitha has lodged a complaint at the Mudhol police station. The accused has been arrested.
