Have BBMP website info in English too, says court
BENGALURU:
The High Court has sought clarifications from the government on a number of issues related to the treatment of Covid patients.
A division bench of Chief Justice AS Oka and Justice Alok Aradhe looked into the issue on Tuesday. PILs have been filed in the matter by Geeta Mishra and H Sunil Kumar.
Counsel for the government had submitted that information on Covid beds was available on the BBMP website. After checking the BBMP portal on his laptop, the CJ sought several clarifications on the procedures involved in admitting Covid patients. The authorities were advised to incorporate the information in the website in English too.
The matter has been adjourned to Thursday.
